   An almost 4 mile long trail leads from the town of Haworth up to Top Withens,  the Wuthering Heights of Emily Bronte's novel.   The signs,  numerous near the built-up area,  disappear the further one gets from it;   the risk of getting lost,  even today,  is anything but rare!

   <<Non sapete che correte il rischio di perdervi nelle paludi?   Anche chi conosce bene la brughiera spesso si smarrisce in serate come queste,  e,  vi assicuro,  non c'e' alcuna possibilita' che il tempo per il momento cambi.>>

   Un sentiero di circa 6 kilometri conduce dal paese di Haworth fino a Top Withens,  la Cime Tempestose del romanzo di Emily Bronte.   Le indicazioni,  abbondanti in prossimita' del centro abitato,  scompaiono via via che ce ne si allontana;   il rischio di perdersi,  anche al giorno d'oggi,  e' tutt'altro che raro!
